The Flying Village
How time flies! These lucky villagers never have to cut the grass - they just throw a few logs on the fire and go sailing away in their flying houses to a new year.

When Pilliard Dickle visited this village, he ended up buying one of the little houses (well, actually, he traded a bunch of calendars for it). Then he converted it into a one-room flying calendar studio. Zephyring over Calendaria with a bird's eye view is a much better way to see the millennium, he discovered, than trudging across it on foot, one week at a time. And a lot more fun. The danger is in flying too high and getting caught in the pastward trade winds.
