The Village Calendar

One morning a villager was raking his yard when he noticed that the leaves were hovering an inch or so off the ground.

The rainwater he'd caught in a bucket that morning was rising like a tide. Little globules of water were squiggling around in mid-air like liquid marbles.

This happened every month when the moon passed low overhead and made eveybody feel lightheaded and giddy. In fact, it's become a local holiday, and all the villagers all come out to play in the light gravity.
