The calendars you've seen over the years are Pilliard Dickle's drawings of the years he's discovered as he has traversed his way across this odd land. So you might have the impression that the actual reality of the land of Calendaria is cartoon-like in nature. But that's one artist's interpretation. Earlier explorers have rendered it differently, in oils, watercolors, etc. Most other representations of Calendaria have been lost in antiquity, but this rare photograph was recently discovered in the archives of the Space Library. The photographer is currently unknown.
